Separate 24VAC power
«
on:

Customer wants to use separate power sources to power up Tstat, and separate power to get switched through tstat to turn on valves (2-position).
Essentially tstat power and valve power are 2 different 24VAc sources.
Can this be done?
Products: VT7200 and VT7300
Thanks.

You could, but you have to be extremely carefull not to mix up the common & the grounds of the transformer.
May I ask why ?
Most of the time, we advpocate trying to use a single transformer or even use the existing equipment mounted one to save $$.
If absolutely necessay, let me know your setup and I will give you a drawing showing how to do it.
